Celebrity Home: Actress Stephanie Moore

This fall, Toronto actress Stephanie Moore will star as Cassandra Rains in Cube Zero in the prequel to the cult film Cube. Fans of Showtime's Queer As Folk know her from her recurring role as Cynthia, the office assistance.

In December, Moore and her husband, literary agent Glenn Cockburn, headed out to buy a Christmas tree and came home with a condo.

They came across an open house for a one-bedroom suite in a five-storey, New York-style brownstone built in 1912. It was located next door to the National Ballet School, in the heart of the gay village at Church and Wellseley Sts. The condo looked hassle-free, so they decided to buy it on the spot. A month later they moved from their one bedroom rental around the corner.

What is your proudest decorating moment?
I'm proud of how we adapted our condo to suit our needs, our living room triples as a guest room with a sofa bed and an office with our closet desk.
What was your worst decorating disaster.
Thanks to me, the curtains hang a little off-kilter and because of that mistake, I hung the paintings crooked too. So far, Glenn hasn't noticed.
